Overtime pay formula
Overtime rate = rate × multiplier · Pay = overtime rate × overtime hours
In some cases overtime is compensated with time off instead of money; check your contract.
Overtime example
With a €15 rate and a 1.5 multiplier, each overtime hour is worth €22.50: 10 overtime hours make €225. With 160 regular hours, the period total is €2,625.
